User Security Levels
Windows NT, 2000, and XP have security levels for various computer operations. These affect installation and use.
You must have "administrator" priviledges to install the program.
You must have "administrator" or "power user" priviledges to run the program. Those with simple "guest" or "user" priviledges will not be able to run the program because of the way the program creates and deletes "processes." In large organizations, these levels are set by IT administrators.
You may have to add the Fta32 program icon to the Start | Programs menu when you use a lesser priviledge than "administrator." This can be done, as a "power user", from Settings | Task Bar | Advanced | Add | Browse...
